Drop In Services / Events / Training
People who care for others now have access to more help and support from a new
service. Colebrook Housing Society in partnership with Age Concern have launched
a new service called Carers Champions Plymouth. If you are an adult carer of
another adult, this service can provide advice and information about issues that
affect you, practical support and help you to get services that you need for
yourself or the person you care for.
We are also offering you a number of Drop in sessions in city wide locations,
Outreach in the community, Up to date information, Opportunities for training
and peer support.
Many people take on a caring role as part of their commitment to family and
friends and may not consider themselves as carers. These people are entitled to
help and support from our service.
