Colebrook Housing Society launched the TAILOR MADE SUPPORT service on 1st September 2009.  This is a new service to provide person centred packages of support to meet the diverse needs of all client groups.
The service has been created in response to the Personalisation agenda which focuses on empowering individuals to have control over their money and their support.
 
Tailor Made Support Service commits to:

• putting people first – seeing the person as an individual
• person centred planning & self directed support – enabling the person to decide what support they want
• personally tailored packages – developing a package with the individual to support them to achieve their goals
• accessible information – meeting individual needs using a variety of communication tools
• flexible support to meet individual’s needs

• Individuals having maximum choice, control and power over the support services received – you are the experts!

Meet the Tailor Made Support Team:

	Emma Sheer (Development Manager) – Emma has worked for Colebrook for many years and as the manager of the Tailor Made Support service she brings enthusiasm and experience in delivering Mental Health and Learning Disability services.
	Joella Dent (Support Worker) – Joella will be providing community based support to individuals. Joella brings sound knowledge in both mental health and learning disability fields delivering both project and outreach based support.
	Russell Pember (Support Worker) – Russell will be providing community based support to individuals. He is an experienced youth worker and is also a qualified assistant instructor in outdoor education (Kayaking, canoeing etc)
	Tina Jane Lowe (General Support Worker) – Tina will be providing community based support to individuals. She works part time on a Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. She has a wealth of experience, specifically in Autism, Aspergers & Learning Disabilities.
