Making a Referral to Colebrook Housing Society

Colebrook Housing society is committed to providing high quality supported housing and are aware that the referral process is an important part of this.

The referral process aims to ensure that all applicants seeking accommodation and/or services within Colebrook Housing Society receive the same high standard considerations during the referral process, regardless of outcome.

All applicants to Colebrook Housing Society will be considered equally and in line with project/service criteria, project dynamics and needs. Priority will be given to those who are homeless or at risk of abuse.

Colebrook has a clear Equality and Diversity policy and this will be applied to all referrals.

As a key provider of housing and support within Plymouth, it is important we encourage diversity within our work practice. With this in mind we will monitor Equality and Diversity information collected through use of the CHS application form. From this, we will adjust and expand services to applicants where possible and we welcome any suggestions that will help us become more accessible to appropriate applicants, particularly groups which are under represented within our services or vulnerable in our communities.

Colebrook Housing Society will update vacancy information and formally publicise this on a weekly basis – we will fax and email this bulletin to a wide range of external agencies, aiming to reach people who may be in need of our services.

We welcome informal approaches to our Head Office address and will seek to process these accordingly.

All applicants have the option of visiting our projects to get an idea of what our services offer. Direct numbers to the projects can be obtained through Colebrook’s head office.
